Widdershins-THE BAND
About seven years ago, Bruce Elzinga (yes that is me, speaking in the third person), found a voice and something to say and miraculously found a pen and wrote it down. Thus began this journey, this trek, this labor of love, this beautiful life of making music out of nothing. He was the bass player for many years, for many other writers and finally found the other two strings and learned to play the guitar and sing. This makes him very happy (me, too), and hopefully will bring some sonic joy to you as well.
This year's incarnation of the band also makes him very happy. They have been building and working and playing hard for the last year and are splitting wide open with excitement to bring you their unique, yet familiar rootsy folk-rock songs and sounds.
